Responsibilities
- Deliver engaging 1:1 and small-group virtual tutoring sessions via our interactive platform
- Develop customized lesson plans aligned with Tennessee state standards and individual student needs
- Track student progress through our learning management system and provide detailed feedback
- Communicate effectively with parents and guardians regarding student achievements and areas for improvement
- Utilize digital tools (whiteboards, simulations, educational games) to enhance remote learning experiences
- Participate in ongoing training to stay current with pedagogical best practices and curriculum updates
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Education, Mathematics, Science, or related field (Master's preferred)
- Tennessee teaching certification or equivalent tutoring credentials
- Minimum 2 years of experience teaching/tutoring Math or Science to middle/high school students
- Proficiency in virtual classroom technology (Zoom, Google Classroom, etc.)
- Exceptional communication skills with ability to adapt teaching methods to diverse learning styles
- Strong organizational skills with ability to manage multiple student schedules
- Cleared background check and reliable home office setup with high-speed internet
