Responsibilities
- Conduct live virtual tutoring sessions in mathematics and science subjects
- Develop personalized lesson plans aligned with Oklahoma academic standards
- Monitor student progress and provide detailed progress reports
- Utilize digital platforms (Zoom, interactive whiteboards) for interactive learning
- Communicate effectively with parents and educators regarding student needs
- Participate in monthly training workshops on pedagogical techniques
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Education, STEM field, or related discipline
- 1+ years of teaching/tutoring experience with K-12 students
- Strong proficiency in math (Algebra-Pre-Calculus) and science (Physics/Chemistry)
- Excellent communication skills with ability to simplify complex concepts
- Reliable high-speed internet and quiet home office setup
- Oklahoma teaching certification preferred but not required
- Proficiency with virtual classroom technology
