Responsibilities
- Deliver engaging 1:1 and small-group online tutoring sessions in mathematics and science
- Develop customized lesson plans aligned with Common Core standards
- Track student progress and provide detailed performance feedback
- Utilize interactive digital tools to enhance learning experiences
- Communicate effectively with parents/guardians regarding student growth
- Participate in monthly training sessions and curriculum updates
- Maintain accurate session documentation and progress reports
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Education, Mathematics, Science, or related field
- Minimum 1 year of tutoring or teaching experience
- Proficiency in virtual teaching platforms (Zoom, Google Classroom)
- Strong knowledge of K-12 math/science curriculum
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to adapt teaching methods to diverse learning styles
- California teaching certification preferred
- Background check clearance required
