Responsibilities
- Deliver engaging 1-on-1 and small group virtual tutoring sessions via our interactive platform
- Develop customized lesson plans aligned with curriculum standards and student goals
- Track progress and provide detailed performance reports to parents and students
- Utilize digital tools (whiteboards, simulations, shared documents) for dynamic learning
- Maintain accurate session logs and academic records in our tutor portal
- Participate in ongoing professional development workshops
- Collaborate with academic advisors to address complex learning challenges
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Education, STEM, or related field (Master's preferred)
- 2+ years of verified tutoring/teaching experience
- Proficiency in virtual classroom tools (Zoom, Google Classroom, etc.)
- Subject matter expertise in at least one core academic area
- Excellent communication skills with ability to simplify complex concepts
- California teaching certification or equivalent credentials
- Background check clearance and reliable high-speed internet
- Experience with diverse learning styles and special needs accommodations
