Responsibilities
- Deliver engaging 1:1 virtual tutoring sessions in Math, Science, English, or Social Studies
- Develop customized lesson plans aligned with Tennessee state standards
- Track student progress and provide detailed feedback to parents
- Utilize our interactive digital platform for seamless virtual instruction
- Collaborate with academic advisors to address specific student needs
- Prepare students for standardized tests including TNReady and ACT
- Maintain accurate session documentation and progress reports
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Education or relevant subject field (or equivalent experience)
- Tennessee teaching certification preferred (not required)
- Minimum 2 years tutoring/classroom experience
- Proficiency with virtual learning tools (Zoom, Google Classroom, etc.)
- Strong subject matter expertise in at least one core area
- Excellent communication skills and cultural competency
- Reliable high-speed internet and quiet home office setup
- Availability during weekday afternoons/evenings and weekends
