Responsibilities
- Conduct engaging, one-on-one virtual tutoring sessions tailored to each student's unique learning style and academic needs.
- Develop and implement customized lesson plans and study schedules to ensure student progress and mastery of concepts.
- Provide constructive, timely feedback on assignments and assessments to guide student improvement.
- Maintain accurate records of student performance, attendance, and feedback.
- Communicate effectively with parents and students to foster a supportive and collaborative learning environment.
- Stay updated on curriculum standards and tutoring methodologies to provide high-quality instruction.
Qualifications
- High School Diploma or equivalent required; Bachelor’s degree in Education, the subject area of expertise, or a related field is preferred.
- Previous experience in tutoring, teaching, or mentoring is highly desirable.
- Strong command of the English language and excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Reliable high-speed internet connection and a quiet, distraction-free workspace at home.
- Patience, empathy, and the ability to adapt teaching methods to different learning paces.
- Availability for a minimum of 10 hours per week during flexible evening or weekend shifts.
