Responsibilities
- Deliver engaging 1:1 and small-group virtual tutoring sessions via our proprietary platform
- Develop customized lesson plans aligned with Florida State Standards and student learning objectives
- Monitor student progress through regular assessments and provide detailed progress reports
- Collaborate with parents and EduConnect's academic coordinators to optimize learning outcomes
- Utilize digital tools (interactive whiteboards, screen sharing, educational software) to enhance instruction
- Maintain accurate session logs and student documentation in our CRM system
- Stay current with curriculum updates and pedagogical best practices
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Education, Mathematics, Science, or related field (Master's preferred)
- Minimum 2 years of tutoring or teaching experience with proven student success metrics
- Florida teaching certification or equivalent academic credentials
- Expertise in at least 2 core subjects (Math, ELA, Science, Social Studies)
- Exceptional communication skills and ability to adapt teaching styles to diverse learners
- Proficiency with video conferencing tools and educational technology
- Reliable high-speed internet and dedicated home office space
- Background check clearance required
