Responsibilities
- Deliver 1:1 and small-group virtual tutoring sessions in core subjects (Math, Science, ELA, etc.)
- Develop customized lesson plans aligned with state standards and student learning goals
- Track student progress through our digital platform and provide actionable feedback
- Communicate effectively with parents/guardians regarding student achievements and areas for growth
- Utilize interactive tools (whiteboards, simulations) to create engaging virtual classrooms
- Participate in ongoing training and contribute to curriculum refinement initiatives
- Maintain accurate session documentation and student records
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Education or relevant subject field (Master's preferred)
- 2+ years of tutoring or teaching experience (K-12 focus)
- Proficiency in virtual teaching platforms (Zoom, Google Classroom, etc.)
- Strong subject matter expertise in at least two core academic areas
- Excellent communication skills with ability to adapt to diverse learning styles
- Valid Minnesota teaching license or equivalent certification
- Background check clearance and reliable home office setup
