Responsibilities
- Deliver engaging 1:1 and small-group virtual tutoring sessions via our interactive platform
- Develop customized lesson plans aligned with curriculum standards and student goals
- Track student progress and provide detailed feedback to parents and academic advisors
- Utilize digital tools (whiteboards, screen sharing, educational software) for dynamic instruction
- Prepare students for standardized tests (SAT, ACT, state assessments) and subject mastery
- Maintain accurate session logs and progress documentation in our LMS
- Collaborate with our academic team to refine teaching methodologies and resources
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Education or relevant subject field (Master's preferred)
- Valid teaching certification or 2+ years of professional tutoring experience
- Expertise in at least one core subject (Math, Science, ELA, History)
- Proficiency with virtual tutoring platforms and digital learning tools
- Exceptional communication skills and ability to build rapport with diverse learners
- Strong organizational skills and ability to manage multiple students
- Reliable high-speed internet and quiet home office environment
- Background check clearance required
