Responsibilities
- Deliver engaging 1:1 and small group virtual tutoring sessions via our interactive platform
- Develop customized lesson plans aligned with NYS curriculum standards and individual learning goals
- Track student progress and provide detailed performance reports to parents and academic advisors
- Utilize digital tools (whiteboards, screen sharing, educational software) to create dynamic learning experiences
- Collaborate with curriculum specialists to refine teaching methodologies and resources
- Maintain accurate session logs and communicate student milestones effectively
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Education, Mathematics, Science, English, or related field
- 2+ years of tutoring or classroom teaching experience (NY certification preferred)
- Expertise in K-12 curriculum (Common Core aligned) and standardized test prep (SAT/ACT)
- Exceptional communication skills with ability to simplify complex concepts
- Proficiency with video conferencing tools and digital learning platforms
- Reliable high-speed internet and quiet home workspace
