Responsibilities
- Deliver 1-on-1 and small-group virtual tutoring sessions via our interactive platform
- Develop customized lesson plans aligned with California curriculum standards
- Monitor student progress and provide detailed feedback to parents
- Utilize digital tools (whiteboards, shared documents) for engaging lessons
- Communicate regularly with students and parents about academic goals
- Participate in ongoing professional development workshops
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Education or related field (or current student)
- CA teaching certification preferred but not required
- Proven expertise in at least 2 core subjects (Math, Science, ELA, etc.)
- Experience with virtual tutoring platforms (Zoom, Google Meet)
- Strong communication and adaptability skills
- Background check clearance required
- Availability for evening/weekend sessions (Pacific Time)
