Responsibilities
- Deliver engaging 1-on-1 and small group virtual lessons in core subjects (Math, Science, English)
- Develop customized learning plans aligned with student goals and curriculum standards
- Monitor student progress through regular assessments and provide detailed feedback
- Communicate effectively with parents/guardians regarding student achievements and areas for growth
- Utilize digital platforms (Zoom, interactive whiteboards) to create dynamic learning environments
- Collaborate with academic advisors to address specific learning challenges
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Education or relevant subject area (Master's preferred)
- Minimum 2 years of teaching/tutoring experience with K-12 students
- Strong command of subject matter and ability to simplify complex concepts
- Excellent communication skills and tech proficiency for virtual instruction
- Nebraska teaching certification (or ability to obtain within 90 days)
- Background check clearance and reliable high-speed internet connection
