Our tutors work 1-on-1 or in small virtual groups, leveraging our interactive digital platform to create engaging, tailored lessons. We provide ongoing training, curriculum resources, and a supportive community of educators.
Responsibilities
- Deliver personalized 1-on-1 or small group virtual lessons in core subjects (Math, Science, English, History)
- Develop customized learning plans aligned with student goals and curriculum standards
- Track student progress and provide detailed feedback to parents and administrators
- Utilize our digital platform for interactive lessons, assessments, and resource sharing
- Communicate effectively with students, parents, and EduConnect support team
- Participate in ongoing professional development and tutor community forums
- Maintain accurate session records and progress reports
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Education or relevant subject field (Master's preferred)
- 2+ years of tutoring or teaching experience (K-12 focus)
- PA teaching certification or equivalent credential (or in-progress)
- Exceptional communication skills and ability to connect with diverse learners
- Proficiency in virtual teaching tools (Zoom, Google Classroom, etc.)
- Strong subject matter expertise in at least two core areas
- Reliable high-speed internet and quiet home workspace
- Availability for evening/weekend sessions (minimum 15 hours/week)
