Responsibilities
- Deliver 1-on-1 and small-group virtual tutoring sessions in K-12 subjects
- Develop customized lesson plans aligned with curriculum standards
- Track student progress and provide detailed progress reports
- Communicate effectively with parents and EduConnect coordinators
- Utilize interactive tools (whiteboards, quizzes, simulations) during sessions
- Participate in ongoing professional development workshops
- Maintain accurate session logs and student records
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Education or related field (or equivalent experience)
- 1+ years of tutoring or teaching experience
- Strong subject expertise in Math, Science, English, or Foreign Languages
- Proficiency with virtual tutoring platforms (Zoom, Google Meet, etc.)
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- North Carolina residency required for local service area alignment
- Background clearance and fingerprinting verification
- Reliable high-speed internet and quiet home workspace
