Responsibilities
- Deliver engaging 1:1 and small group virtual tutoring sessions across core subjects (Math, Science, English, History)
- Develop customized lesson plans aligned with state curriculum standards and individual learning goals
- Utilize our interactive digital platform to track student progress and provide detailed feedback
- Communicate effectively with parents, students, and academic advisors regarding performance and milestones
- Participate in ongoing professional development and curriculum enhancement initiatives
- Maintain accurate session records and contribute to student success documentation
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Education or relevant subject field (Master's preferred)
- 2+ years of tutoring or classroom teaching experience (K-12 or college)
- Proficiency in virtual teaching tools (Zoom, Google Classroom, interactive whiteboards)
- Excellent communication skills and ability to adapt teaching methods to diverse learners
- Strong subject matter expertise in at least two core academic areas
- North Carolina teaching license or equivalent certification (preferred)
- Reliable high-speed internet and dedicated home workspace
