Responsibilities
- Deliver engaging 1-on-1 and small-group virtual lessons via our interactive platform
- Develop customized learning plans aligned with California state standards
- Track student progress through our digital assessment tools
- Communicate progress and actionable feedback to parents/guardians
- Collaborate with our curriculum team to refine teaching materials
- Maintain accurate session records and documentation
- Participate in monthly professional development workshops
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Education or related field (or current enrollment)
- CA teaching credential preferred (not required)
- 2+ years of tutoring or classroom teaching experience
- Proficiency in virtual classroom technology (Zoom, Google Classroom)
- Expert knowledge in at least 2 core subjects (Math, Science, ELA, History)
- Excellent communication skills and cultural competency
- Background check and fingerprint clearance required
- Availability for weekday evening/weekend sessions
