Responsibilities
- Deliver 1-on-1 and small-group virtual tutoring sessions in core academic subjects
- Develop customized lesson plans aligned with curriculum standards and student needs
- Monitor student progress through our learning management system
- Provide constructive feedback and progress reports to parents/guardians
- Utilize interactive digital tools to enhance engagement and understanding
- Collaborate with academic advisors to optimize student outcomes
- Maintain accurate session documentation and communication logs
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Education or relevant subject field (Master's preferred)
- Texas teaching certification or equivalent tutoring credentials
- 2+ years of K-12 teaching or tutoring experience
- Proficiency in virtual tutoring platforms (Zoom, Google Classroom, etc.)
- Strong communication skills and ability to connect with students remotely
- Expertise in at least 2 core subjects (Math, Science, ELA, History)
- Reliable high-speed internet and dedicated home workspace
