- Deliver engaging 1:1 and small-group virtual tutoring sessions in core subjects
- Develop customized lesson plans aligned with California State Standards
- Track student progress using our proprietary learning management system
- Provide detailed feedback to parents and academic advisors monthly
- Participate in ongoing professional development workshops
- Maintain 95%+ session attendance and punctuality rate
- Collaborate with curriculum team to refine teaching methodologies
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Education or related field (or equivalent experience)
- CA Teaching Credential or specialized subject certification preferred
- 2+ years of virtual tutoring or online teaching experience
- Proficiency with digital learning tools (Zoom, Google Classroom, Khan Academy)
- Excellent communication skills with ability to simplify complex concepts
- Background check and fingerprint clearance required
- Availability for weekday evening and weekend sessions
- Proven ability to motivate diverse learners
