Responsibilities
- Conduct one-on-one virtual tutoring sessions via Zoom or Google Meet to help students master academic concepts.
- Assess student learning needs and create personalized lesson plans that cater to individual learning styles.
- Provide constructive feedback, assignments, and grades to track student progress and ensure accountability.
- Communicate effectively and professionally with parents/guardians regarding student performance and goals.
- Maintain a professional online presence and ensure a distraction-free learning environment for students.
- Adapt teaching methods to different age groups and proficiency levels, from elementary to high school.
- Stay updated on curriculum standards and educational best practices to deliver high-quality instruction.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Education, English, Math, Science, or a related field is preferred.
- At least one year of teaching, tutoring, or coaching experience is required.
- Excellent communication skills, patience, and a genuine passion for helping students succeed.
- Reliable high-speed internet connection and a quiet workspace free from interruptions.
- Proficiency with video conferencing software (Zoom, Google Classroom) and basic educational technology.
- Ability to pass a background check and adhere to strict safety and privacy policies.
- Self-motivated with the ability to work independently and manage your own schedule.
