Responsibilities
- Conduct engaging 1:1 and small group online tutoring sessions across core subjects (Math, Science, ELA, etc.)
- Develop personalized lesson plans aligned with curriculum standards and student needs
- Track student progress using our analytics dashboard and provide detailed progress reports
- Utilize interactive digital tools (whiteboards, simulations, etc.) to enhance learning outcomes
- Communicate effectively with parents/guardians regarding student achievements and areas for improvement
- Participate in ongoing training to refine tutoring methodologies and subject expertise
- Maintain accurate session logs and student documentation in our LMS
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Education or relevant subject field (or equivalent experience)
- Minimum 2 years of tutoring/teaching experience (online preferred)
- Subject matter expertise in at least one core academic area (Math, Science, ELA)
- Proficiency with video conferencing tools (Zoom, Google Meet) and educational software
- Strong communication skills with ability to engage students virtually
- Patience, adaptability, and passion for student-centered learning
- Valid teaching certification or equivalent credential (preferred)
- Reliable high-speed internet and quiet home workspace
