Responsibilities
- Deliver 1-on-1 and small-group virtual tutoring sessions via our interactive platform
- Develop customized lesson plans aligned with curriculum standards and student goals
- Monitor progress and provide detailed feedback to students and parents
- Utilize digital tools to create engaging, interactive learning materials
- Maintain accurate session records and progress documentation
- Collaborate with academic coordinators to optimize student outcomes
- Participate in ongoing professional development opportunities
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Education or relevant subject area (Master’s preferred)
- 2+ years of tutoring or teaching experience (remote experience a plus)
- Expertise in at least two academic subjects (STEM, humanities, languages)
- Strong proficiency with video conferencing and digital learning tools
- Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills
- Patience, creativity, and ability to adapt to diverse learning styles
- Valid Washington State teaching certification (or equivalent)
- Background check clearance required
