Responsibilities
- Deliver engaging 1-on-1 and small-group virtual tutoring sessions via our interactive platform
- Develop customized lesson plans aligned with state curriculum standards and student learning goals
- Monitor student progress through regular assessments and provide detailed progress reports
- Utilize digital tools (interactive whiteboards, screen sharing) to create dynamic learning experiences
- Communicate effectively with parents/guardians regarding student achievements and areas for improvement
- Participate in ongoing professional development and curriculum training sessions
- Maintain accurate session documentation and student records in our learning management system
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Education or related field (or equivalent teaching certification)
- Minimum 2 years of classroom or online tutoring experience
- Expertise in core subjects (Math, Science, ELA, History) or standardized test prep (SAT/ACT)
- Proficiency with video conferencing platforms and digital teaching tools
- Exceptional communication skills with ability to adapt teaching methods to diverse learning styles
- Proven track record of improving student academic performance
- Reliable high-speed internet and dedicated home office setup
- Must reside in Tulsa metropolitan area for local market alignment
