Responsibilities
- Provide personalized 1-on-1 and small group virtual tutoring sessions in math, science, language arts, or specialized subjects
- Develop customized lesson plans aligned with curriculum standards and student learning objectives
- Monitor student progress through regular assessments and provide constructive feedback
- Utilize digital platforms (Zoom, Google Classroom, interactive whiteboards) for engaging virtual instruction
- Communicate effectively with parents/guardians regarding student development and goals
- Maintain accurate session records and progress documentation
- Participate in ongoing professional development training
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Education or relevant subject field (Master's preferred)
- 1+ years of tutoring or classroom teaching experience
- Indiana teaching certification (or equivalent for remote roles)
- Proficiency in virtual learning technologies and digital teaching tools
- Exceptional communication skills with ability to adapt to diverse learning styles
- Reliable high-speed internet and dedicated home office setup
- Strong subject matter expertise in at least one core academic area
- Ability to work flexible hours including evenings and weekends
