Responsibilities
- Deliver engaging 1:1 and small group virtual tutoring sessions via our interactive platform
- Develop customized lesson plans aligned with state curriculum standards
- Monitor student progress and provide detailed performance feedback
- Utilize digital tools (whiteboards, shared documents, etc.) for interactive learning
- Communicate progress and concerns with parents/guardians weekly
- Collaborate with academic team to refine teaching methodologies
- Maintain accurate session records and student documentation
Qualifications
- Minimum 2 years formal teaching/tutoring experience OR Bachelor's degree in Education
- Strong subject expertise in Math, Science, or Language Arts
- Proficient with virtual classroom technology (Zoom, Google Classroom)
- Excellent communication skills and cultural sensitivity
- TX teaching certification preferred but not required
- Reliable high-speed internet and quiet home workspace
- Ability to work flexible hours including evenings/weekends
