Responsibilities
- Deliver 1-on-1 and small-group virtual tutoring sessions in core subjects (Math, Science, English, History)
- Develop personalized learning plans aligned with state standards and individual student needs
- Monitor student progress and provide detailed progress reports to parents
- Utilize interactive digital tools to create engaging, effective learning experiences
- Communicate proactively with parents and academic advisors regarding student performance
- Stay current with curriculum developments and teaching methodologies
- Participate in ongoing training and professional development opportunities
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Education or relevant subject area (Master's preferred)
- Minimum 2 years of teaching/tutoring experience (K-12 or college level)
- Strong subject matter expertise in at least two core academic areas
- Proficiency with virtual learning platforms (Zoom, Google Classroom, etc.)
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Tennessee teaching certification (or ability to obtain within 30 days)
