Responsibilities
- Deliver engaging 1:1 and small-group virtual tutoring sessions in core academic subjects
- Develop customized lesson plans aligned with Texas education standards
- Track student progress using our proprietary analytics dashboard
- Communicate effectively with parents and school partners regarding student outcomes
- Utilize interactive digital tools to create dynamic learning experiences
- Participate in ongoing training for curriculum updates and pedagogy best practices
- Maintain accurate session documentation and progress reports
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Education or specialized subject field (or equivalent experience)
- Minimum 2 years of tutoring/teaching experience with proven student success
- Texas teaching certification preferred (not required for non-licensed specialists)
- Expertise in at least 2 core subjects (Math, Science, ELA, History, etc.)
- Proficiency with virtual classroom tools (Zoom, Google Classroom, etc.)
- Exceptional communication skills and ability to build rapport remotely
- Flexible availability during weekday afternoons/evenings and weekends
- Background check clearance required
