Responsibilities
- Deliver engaging 1-on-1 and small-group virtual tutoring sessions in core subjects (Math, Science, English, History)
- Develop customized lesson plans aligned with state curriculum standards and student learning objectives
- Track student progress through our LMS platform and provide detailed performance reports
- Communicate effectively with parents/guardians regarding student achievements and areas for improvement
- Utilize interactive digital tools to create dynamic, visually appealing learning experiences
- Participate in ongoing professional development to enhance tutoring methodologies
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Education or relevant subject field (Master's preferred)
- 1+ years of formal tutoring or classroom teaching experience
- Proficiency in virtual tutoring platforms (Zoom, Google Classroom, etc.)
- Arizona teaching certification or equivalent (required for math/science specialists)
- Exceptional communication skills with ability to adapt to diverse learning styles
- Reliable high-speed internet and quiet home office environment
- Availability for evening/weekend sessions (Pacific Time Zone)
