Responsibilities
- Deliver engaging 1-on-1 and small-group virtual tutoring sessions via our interactive platform
- Develop customized lesson plans aligned with student learning objectives and curriculum standards
- Track student progress through regular assessments and provide detailed progress reports
- Utilize digital tools (whiteboards, simulations, multimedia) to enhance remote learning experiences
- Communicate effectively with parents/guardians regarding student achievements and areas for improvement
- Maintain accurate session documentation and adhere to company tutoring protocols
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Education or relevant subject field (or current enrollment in accredited program)
- Minimum 1 year of tutoring or teaching experience (remote preferred)
- Proficiency in virtual tutoring platforms (Zoom, Google Classroom, etc.)
- Strong subject matter expertise in at least one core academic area (Math, Science, ELA, etc.)
- Excellent communication skills with ability to adapt teaching to diverse learning styles
- Reliable high-speed internet and quiet home office environment
- Kansas teaching certification or equivalent preferred
