Responsibilities
- Design, develop, and maintain scalable backend services using Node.js and AWS
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define technical requirements and project milestones
- Mentor junior engineers through code reviews and architectural discussions
- Implement CI/CD pipelines and optimize system performance
- Contribute to product roadmap discussions and technical innovation
- Ensure security best practices are implemented across all codebases
- Participate in agile ceremonies and sprint planning
Qualifications
- 5+ years of experience in full-stack development with JavaScript/TypeScript
- Expertise in Node.js, Express, and REST API design
- Strong AWS knowledge (EC2, Lambda, RDS, S3)
- Experience with SQL/NoSQL databases (PostgreSQL, MongoDB)
- Proficient in Git and agile development methodologies
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or equivalent experience
- Proven ability to deliver projects in remote-first environments
- Excellent problem-solving and communication skills
