- Convert audio/video recordings of medical/legal proceedings into verbatim text with 98%+ accuracy
- Adhere to strict confidentiality protocols for sensitive patient/client information
- Format documents according to client specifications (templates, styles, punctuation)
- Utilize specialized transcription software and foot pedals for efficient playback control
- Proofread transcripts for grammar, spelling, and technical terminology accuracy
- Meet daily/weekly production targets while maintaining quality standards
- Communicate clearly with project managers for clarification needs
Qualifications
- Minimum 2 years professional transcription experience (medical/legal preferred)
- Exceptional typing speed (80+ WPM) with 100% accuracy
- Proficiency in MS Office Suite and transcription software (ExpressScribe, etc.)
- Deep knowledge of medical terminology or legal jargon relevant to specialty
