Job Overview:
As a Scheduling Coordinator, you will manage the end-to-end scheduling process for our construction and industrial equipment rentals. You will be the primary point of contact for our clients, ensuring their needs are met with precision and efficiency.
Responsibilities
- Coordinate and schedule the delivery, pickup, and return of heavy machinery and construction equipment.
- Maintain an up-to-date digital and physical calendar to track rental periods and technician availability.
- Communicate effectively with drivers, warehouse staff, and customers to resolve scheduling conflicts or delays.
- Process incoming rental orders and ensure all necessary paperwork, contracts, and licenses are accurate and filed.
- Monitor equipment inventory levels and alert management to potential shortages or maintenance needs.
- Provide exceptional customer service by answering inquiries and resolving issues professionally.
- Update the company database with real-time scheduling changes and customer feedback.
Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED required; Associate’s degree in Logistics or Business preferred.
- Minimum of 1-2 years of experience in scheduling, logistics, dispatch, or customer service.
- Strong organizational skills with the ability to multitask in a fast-paced, high-volume environment.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Outlook, Word) and CRM software.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Valid driver’s license and a clean driving record.
- Ability to stand for extended periods and lift up to 25 lbs occasionally.
