As a key member of our design department, you will be responsible for creating high-fidelity animations that push the boundaries of 2D motion graphics, character animation, and interactive storytelling. You will work closely with art directors and developers to ensure every frame meets our premium standards.
Responsibilities
- Lead the end-to-end 2D animation process, from concept to final render, ensuring high-quality visual storytelling.
- Rig and animate characters and assets using industry-standard software such as Toon Boom Harmony, Adobe After Effects, and Cinema 4D.
- Collaborate with the creative team to develop innovative animation styles that align with brand identity.
- Optimize animation sequences for various platforms, including web, mobile, and broadcast.
- Mentor junior animators and provide constructive feedback to elevate the team's overall performance.
- Stay current with emerging trends in 2D animation and motion design to keep our work cutting-edge.
Qualifications
- 5+ years of professional experience in 2D animation and motion design.
- Proficiency in Toon Boom Harmony, Adobe After Effects, and Photoshop/Illustrator.
- A strong portfolio demonstrating expertise in character animation, cut-out animation, or vector motion graphics.
- Deep understanding of 12 principles of animation (squash and stretch, follow through, etc.).
- Excellent communication skills and the ability to take creative direction effectively.
- Ability to work independently as well as collaboratively in a team setting.
