We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Backend Engineer to join our elite remote team. This is a critical role focused on maintaining our high-availability systems during off-peak hours, ensuring seamless operations for our US-based clients. You will be working the Night Shift to support our development lifecycle, perform complex debugging, and implement scalable solutions that drive our business forward while the rest of the world sleeps.

Key Responsibilities:
- Design, develop, and maintain scalable backend APIs and microservices.
- Monitor system performance and troubleshoot critical issues during the night shift.
- Collaborate with the product team to define feature requirements and technical specifications.
- Ensure data security, integrity, and high availability across all environments.
- Conduct code reviews and mentor junior developers on best practices.
- Optimize database queries and application performance to handle peak loads.
Qualifications:
- Minimum of 5+ years of experience in backend software development.
- Proficiency in Node.js, Python, or Java.
- Experience with AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud.
- Strong understanding of PostgreSQL, MongoDB, or Redis.
- Ability to work effectively in a Night Shift environment (10 PM - 6 AM or similar).
- Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
- Strong communication skills for remote collaboration.
