The Role:
You will be responsible for designing and implementing robust, scalable backend services that power our core product. You will work closely with cross-functional teams to define, design, and ship new features.
Responsibilities
- Design and implement high-performance RESTful APIs and microservices using Go and Python.
- Optimize database queries and ensure data integrity across distributed systems.
- Conduct rigorous code reviews and provide technical mentorship to junior developers.
- Collaborate with product managers to translate business requirements into technical specifications.
- Participate in the full software development lifecycle, from architecture to deployment.
- Maintain and improve system security, scalability, and reliability standards.
Qualifications
- 5+ years of professional software development experience in a similar role.
- Proficiency in Go, Python, or Java with strong knowledge of asynchronous programming.
- Experience with cloud infrastructure (AWS, GCP, or Azure) and containerization (Docker/Kubernetes).
- Strong understanding of database technologies (PostgreSQL, MongoDB, Redis).
- Excellent problem-solving skills and ability to thrive in a fast-paced Agile environment.
- Willingness to commute to the San Jose, CA office for hybrid collaboration.
