Responsibilities
- Design and implement cloud-native security architectures across AWS/GCP platforms
- Lead incident response for cloud security breaches using SIEM tools
- Develop automation scripts for compliance monitoring (HIPAA, PCI-DSS)
- Conduct threat modeling for new cloud deployments and integrations
- Mentor junior engineers on cloud security best practices
- Present security findings to C-level executives and engineering teams
Qualifications
- 8+ years in cybersecurity with 5+ years specializing in cloud security
- Certified AWS Security Specialty or GCP Security Engineer
- Expertise in container security (Kubernetes, Docker)
- Strong scripting skills (Python, Terraform, CloudFormation)
- Experience with infrastructure-as-code security hardening
- Proven track record in designing zero-trust architectures
- Ability to lead complex security projects with minimal supervision
