Responsibilities
- Design and implement end-to-end cloud architecture solutions on AWS/GCP with 99.99% uptime SLAs
- Lead technical discovery workshops with C-level stakeholders to translate business requirements into cloud blueprints
- Optimize cloud spending through FinOps strategies and infrastructure automation
- Mentor junior architects through design reviews and knowledge-sharing sessions
- Develop IaC templates (Terraform/CloudFormation) and CI/CD pipelines for cloud deployments
- Conduct security assessments and compliance audits for HIPAA/GDPR/regulatory requirements
- Present architecture roadmaps to executive leadership and technical steering committees
Qualifications
- 8+ years in cloud architecture with 5+ years designing enterprise-scale AWS/GCP solutions
- Expert-level certifications (AWS Solutions Architect Pro, GCP Professional Cloud Architect)
- Proficiency in at least one scripting language (Python, Go, or Terraform)
- Experience with Kubernetes, Docker, and serverless technologies
- Deep understanding of cloud security frameworks (CIS, AWS Well-Architected)
- Proven track record of leading cloud migrations for 500+ employee organizations
- Strong written/verbal communication skills for executive stakeholder management
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or equivalent technical experience
