Responsibilities
- Data Mining & Cleaning: Extract, transform, and load (ETL) large datasets from various sources to ensure data accuracy and integrity.
- Visualization: Design and maintain interactive dashboards using Tableau or Power BI to track key performance indicators (KPIs) and progress.
- Reporting: Create comprehensive weekly and monthly reports that highlight critical business insights and trends to executive leadership.
- SQL Proficiency: Write complex SQL queries to retrieve specific data points and perform advanced data manipulation.
- Stakeholder Collaboration: Work closely with cross-functional teams to understand business requirements and translate them into analytical solutions.
- Process Improvement: Identify opportunities to streamline data workflows and improve overall data infrastructure efficiency.
Qualifications
- Education: Bachelor’s degree in Statistics, Mathematics, Computer Science, or a related field.
- Experience: Minimum of 3-5 years of professional experience in data analysis, preferably in a remote or hybrid setting.
- Technical Skills: Strong proficiency in SQL (PostgreSQL, MySQL) and programming languages such as Python or R.
- Tools: Advanced knowledge of Excel (VLOOKUP, Pivot Tables) and visualization tools like Tableau or Power BI.
- Communication: Excellent verbal and written communication skills with the ability to explain complex data concepts to non-technical audiences.
- Attention to Detail: Meticulous approach to data accuracy and a strong sense of ownership over the data you manage.
