Responsibilities
- Architect and implement scalable AWS infrastructure using Terraform and CloudFormation
- Optimize CI/CD pipelines for microservices deployments on Kubernetes
- Lead incident response and system reliability improvements (SRE practices)
- Automate infrastructure monitoring with Prometheus, Grafana, and Datadog
- Mentor junior engineers through pair programming and design reviews
- Implement robust security frameworks including IAM policies and network encryption
Qualifications
- 5+ years of experience in cloud infrastructure (AWS preferred)
- Expertise in container orchestration (Docker, Kubernetes)
- Proficiency with Infrastructure as Code tools (Terraform, Pulumi)
- Strong background in Linux systems administration and scripting (Python/Bash)
- Experience with CI/CD tools (Jenkins, GitLab CI, GitHub Actions)
- Relevant certifications (AWS Solutions Architect, Kubernetes Administrator)
- Proven track record of reducing system downtime by 40%+
