Responsibilities
- Manage and execute weekend deployment pipelines and system maintenance windows to minimize impact on business operations.
- Monitor system health and performance metrics across all environments (Dev, Staging, Prod) during off-hours.
- Investigate and resolve critical infrastructure incidents or alerts that occur during the weekend shift.
- Collaborate with the on-call team during business hours to resolve complex issues and document weekend activities.
- Automate infrastructure provisioning and scaling using IaC tools (Terraform, Ansible).
- Ensure compliance with security best practices and disaster recovery protocols during all maintenance cycles.
Qualifications
- 5+ years of experience in DevOps, SRE, or a similar engineering role.
- Strong proficiency in Linux systems administration and scripting (Bash/Python/PowerShell).
- Deep knowledge of cloud platforms, specifically AWS or GCP.
- Must be available to work weekends (Saturday and Sunday) on a rotating schedule.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related technical field.
