Responsibilities
- Data Mining & Cleansing: Extract, transform, and load (ETL) data from various disparate sources to ensure high-quality datasets for analysis.
- Advanced SQL Querying: Write complex SQL queries to retrieve data, perform joins, and generate reporting tables efficiently.
- Dashboard Creation: Design and develop interactive, visually appealing dashboards using Tableau or PowerBI to visualize key performance indicators (KPIs).
- Statistical Analysis: Conduct deep-dive statistical analysis to identify trends, anomalies, and patterns that inform strategic decision-making.
- Stakeholder Reporting: Translate complex data findings into clear, concise, and compelling narratives for executive leadership and non-technical teams.
- Process Optimization: Identify areas for process improvement within the data workflow and implement automated solutions to increase efficiency.
Qualifications
- Education: Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Mathematics, Statistics, Finance, or a related field required.
- Experience: Minimum of 5 years of professional experience in data analysis, preferably within a remote or distributed team environment.
- Technical Skills: Strong proficiency in SQL (PostgreSQL, MySQL) and Python (Pandas, NumPy) for data manipulation.
- Visualization Tools: Expert level experience with Tableau or Microsoft PowerBI.
- Communication: Exceptional verbal and written communication skills with the ability to explain technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders.
- Remote Discipline: Proven ability to work independently, manage time effectively, and communicate proactively in a remote setting.
