Responsibilities
- Oversee the end-to-end lifecycle of company equipment, from acquisition and provisioning to decommissioning and recycling, ensuring 100% asset visibility.
- Manage the logistics of shipping and receiving equipment to remote employees across the Florida region and beyond.
- Coordinate with IT and procurement teams to troubleshoot hardware issues remotely and arrange for on-site repairs when necessary.
- Develop and maintain inventory databases using logistics management software to track asset distribution and usage.
- Ensure compliance with company policies regarding equipment handling, security, and data protection.
- Conduct regular audits of remote equipment inventories to identify shortages or discrepancies.
- Train new remote hires on the setup and proper use of provided equipment.
Qualifications
- Minimum of 3-5 years of experience in logistics, supply chain management, or equipment operations.
- Strong proficiency with inventory management systems and logistics software (e.g., SAP, NetSuite, or similar).
- Demonstrated experience in managing remote teams or supporting distributed workforces.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills with the ability to explain technical concepts clearly.
- Ability to work independently, prioritize tasks effectively, and manage multiple deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
- Valid Driver’s License and willingness to handle occasional local pickups/drop-offs.
- Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain, Business Administration, or a related field is preferred.
