Responsibilities
- Architect cloud-native solutions using AWS/GCP and microservices
- Mentor 2-3 junior engineers through pair programming and technical reviews
- Lead agile sprints with flexible sprint planning ceremonies
- Implement CI/CD pipelines and automated testing infrastructure
- Collaborate with UX designers to optimize user experiences
- Contribute to open-source projects quarterly
- Present quarterly tech talks to the engineering community
Qualifications
- 5+ years experience in distributed systems development
- Expert proficiency in Python/Go and container orchestration
- AWS/GCP certification or equivalent practical experience
- Portfolio demonstrating 3+ production-level projects
- Proven track record of mentoring junior developers
- Ability to self-manage deliverables with minimal supervision
- Experience with federal security compliance (FedRAMP/NIST)
