Responsibilities
- Transcribe complex medical dictations with 99%+ accuracy across diverse specialties
- Adhere to HIPAA compliance protocols and maintain strict confidentiality standards
- Utilize advanced transcription software and EHR systems for seamless documentation
- Proofread and edit transcriptions for grammar, clarity, and medical terminology precision
- Collaborate with healthcare professionals to resolve discrepancies in dictations
- Meet daily productivity targets while maintaining exceptional quality standards
- Stay current with evolving medical terminology and documentation regulations
Qualifications
- Minimum 3 years of medical transcription experience with verifiable credentials
- Proficiency in medical terminology across multiple specialties (surgery, cardiology, oncology)
- Typing speed of 85+ WPM with exceptional accuracy and attention to detail
- Familiarity with EHR systems (Epic, Cerner) and transcription platforms (Dictaphone, Express Scribe)
- Certificate in Medical Transcription (AHDI or equivalent preferred)
- Strong command of English grammar, punctuation, and style guidelines
- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision while meeting deadlines
