- Adhere to HIPAA compliance protocols for all patient/client data
- Utilize company-provided equipment (foot pedal, headset, software) efficiently
- Meet daily productivity quotas while maintaining quality standards
- Proofread and edit transcriptions for grammar, clarity, and consistency
- Maintain organized digital filing systems for completed documents
- Collaborate with team leads for complex terminology clarification
Qualifications
- Minimum 1 year professional transcription experience
- Proven typing speed of 75+ WPM with 98% accuracy
- Familiarity with medical/legal terminology and formatting standards
- Proficiency in using transcription software (e.g., Express Scribe, InScribe)
- Strong command of English grammar, punctuation, and style guides
- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision
- High-speed internet connection and dedicated home workspace
