Responsibilities
- Data Mining & Cleaning: Extract, transform, and load (ETL) data from various sources to ensure high-quality, accurate datasets for analysis.
- Advanced Analytics: Perform complex statistical analysis to identify trends, patterns, and anomalies in large datasets to support strategic decision-making.
- Visualization: Design and develop interactive dashboards and reports using Tableau or PowerBI to visualize key performance indicators (KPIs) for stakeholders.
- Database Management: Write optimized SQL queries and scripts to retrieve and manipulate data efficiently.
- Stakeholder Collaboration: Partner with cross-functional teams (marketing, finance, operations) to understand their data needs and deliver tailored insights.
- Process Improvement: Identify gaps in current reporting processes and recommend solutions to improve data accuracy and reporting efficiency.
Qualifications
- Education: Bachelor’s degree in Data Science, Mathematics, Statistics, Finance, or a related field (Master’s degree preferred).
- Experience: Minimum of 3-5 years of professional experience in data analysis or business intelligence.
- Technical Skills: Proficiency in SQL (PostgreSQL, MySQL, or Snowflake), Python (Pandas, NumPy), and Excel (VLOOKUP, Pivot Tables).
- Visualization Tools: Strong working knowledge of Tableau, PowerBI, or similar data visualization software.
- Communication: Excellent verbal and written communication skills with the ability to translate complex data into clear business recommendations.
- Location: Must be legally authorized to work in the United States and reside within the Kansas area for the remote setup.
