- Listen to audio recordings and transcribe spoken language into clear, error-free text.
- Proofread and edit transcripts to ensure grammatical correctness and factual accuracy.
- Adhere to strict formatting guidelines and style guides provided by the client.
- Manage time effectively to meet daily production and turnaround time (TAT) deadlines.
- Maintain strict confidentiality regarding sensitive medical, legal, or financial information.
- Utilize specialized transcription software and hardware efficiently.
Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED required; Associate degree or certification preferred.
- Minimum of 2 years of professional transcription experience.
- Typing speed of 60+ words per minute with high accuracy.
- Strong command of the English language, including grammar and spelling.
- Familiarity with medical or legal terminology is highly desirable.
- Reliable internet connection and home office setup (if remote hybrid).
