Responsibilities
- Oversee Logistics: Manage the end-to-end operational flow for all World Cup venues, ensuring strict adherence to FIFA protocols and local regulations.
- Technology Integration: Collaborate with IT departments to ensure seamless integration of ticketing, broadcasting, and security systems across 11 host cities.
- Crisis Management: Develop and execute emergency response plans to mitigate risks during high-volume match days and events.
- Vendor Coordination: Lead negotiations and performance monitoring for third-party contractors, including security firms, cleaning crews, and hospitality providers.
- Stakeholder Communication: Serve as the primary point of contact for government officials, team representatives, and league executives.
- Data Analysis: Utilize operational data to optimize crowd flow and resource allocation in real-time.
Qualifications
- Experience: Minimum of 5-7 years of experience in large-scale event operations, sports management, or project management within the IT sector.
- Education: Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Sports Management, or a related field.
- Certification: PMP or Prince2 certification is highly preferred.
- Technical Proficiency: Strong understanding of smart stadium technologies, IoT, and enterprise resource planning (ERP) systems.
- Travel: Willingness to travel extensively across the United States and Canada (host regions) for project rollouts.
- Language: Fluent in English; proficiency in Spanish is a major plus.
