Responsibilities
- Develop and execute the 2026 technology roadmap, integrating quantum AI, biotech convergence, and climate-tech solutions
- Lead R&D initiatives for next-gen autonomous systems and human-machine interfaces
- Partner with C-suite to align tech innovations with market opportunities
- Manage $5M+ annual R&D budget with agile methodology implementation
- Present breakthrough findings to industry panels and venture capital partners
- Mentor a team of 12+ specialists across quantum computing and neural interfaces
- Drive patent strategy for emerging technologies in the 2026 landscape
Qualifications
- 15+ years in tech leadership with 5+ years in emerging technologies (quantum/AI/biotech)
- PhD or equivalent in Computer Science, Quantum Physics, or Bioengineering
- Proven track record of scaling tech startups from prototype to commercialization
- Expertise in agile development and cross-functional team leadership
- Deep understanding of regulatory frameworks for emerging tech (FDA, FCC, etc.)
- Published research in Nature/Science or equivalent tier journals
- Strong network with venture capital and government innovation labs
- Experience with 5G/6G infrastructure and edge computing architectures
