Responsibilities
- Develop and execute the 2026+ technology strategy roadmap, anticipating market shifts and disruptive innovations
- Lead cross-functional teams in researching and evaluating emerging technologies (AI, quantum computing, biotech, etc.)
- Partner with product, engineering, and business teams to integrate future technologies into core offerings
- Conduct competitive analysis and market research to identify strategic opportunities and threats
- Present technology forecasts and recommendations to executive stakeholders and board members
- Establish innovation frameworks and processes to accelerate prototyping and validation of futuristic concepts
- Manage vendor partnerships and academic collaborations to stay ahead of technology curves
Qualifications
- 15+ years in technology strategy, innovation management, or R&D leadership
- Expertise in forecasting emerging technologies and their commercial applications
- Proven track record of developing and implementing multi-year technology roadmaps
- Deep knowledge of AI/ML, quantum computing, AR/VR, or biotech convergence
- Experience presenting to C-suite executives and influencing strategic decisions
- Strong analytical skills with ability to synthesize complex technical and market data
- Advanced degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Business, or related field
- Published thought leadership in technology futurism or innovation strategy
