Responsibilities
- Develop and execute technology roadmaps targeting 2026+ market opportunities
- Lead competitive analysis of emerging technologies (quantum, AI, biotech, Web3)
- Build strategic partnerships with startups, research institutions, and industry consortiums
- Create innovation frameworks for rapid prototyping and pilot programs
- Present technology forecasts and recommendations to executive leadership
- Manage R&D budget allocation for future-facing initiatives
- Champion ethical technology adoption and sustainable innovation practices
Qualifications
- 10+ years in technology strategy, R&D management, or innovation consulting
- Deep expertise in at least two emerging tech domains (quantum/AI/AR/BC)
- Proven track record of launching breakthrough products or services
- Advanced degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or Business
- Experience with scenario planning and technology forecasting methodologies
- Strong network within Silicon Valley tech ecosystem
- Exceptional communication skills for executive presentations
- Portfolio of published tech trend analyses or thought leadership
